“I am definitely doing my exercises,” said the man who was almost killed in a motorcycle accident in 2002. “I’m not doing anything other than my exercises, which I do every morning, six times a week.

“I am on a programme. I’m going to finish up next week and then start working on the rehabilitation, because I have to rehabilitate the brain. It’s not the same brain I had before the accident.

“I am aware of what my body is capable. Once on this programme, I want to find out where I’m going to be in another three years. I am not worried about what I am capable of. I am worried about what I am capable of. My main concern is how I am going to be at the end of six months. I want to know what I am capable of. I don’t care how it looks.
