Lainey Wilson details what it’s like filming ‘Yellowstone,’ being recognized after 11 years in country music and her upcoming appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’

Lainey Wilson has been in country music for a while.
From her days with Carrie Underwood in her hometown of Nashville to her more recent collaborations with Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson has had numerous television shows and movies in Country Music. But after 11 years in country music, Lainey is ready to get back out on the road.
“I have been touring all around the world. Some of the highlights have been the shows I’ve done in Europe, Japan, and the states of America. I am always excited to just be on the road and doing something different. I have been lucky to travel with the greatest show on Broadway,” Lainey says. “Being on the road and traveling with the greatest show on Broadway has opened up so many doors because it allows for many different experiences. I also loved working on and off Broadway with some of my favorite artists and performers.”
Lainey’s latest album, “We’re Already There / I’m Already Gone” was produced and mixed by Jimmy Iovine at the legendary American Recordings (Nashville). “We’re Already There / I’m Already Gone” is Lainey’s first new music in almost three years. The album features appearances by her husband, Kris Humphries. She was married to Kris for a year before divorcing him in August 2013.
“Kris and I were married for almost one year before we split,” Lainey explains. “Kris and I made some amazing memories together and I am grateful for the time we had together. We had a blast.”
During their time together, Kris and Lainey continued to record music. They released a couple songs in 2014 and a few albums of theirs together and produced Kris’ song “It’s Not Over” off his album, “Caught Up” that also featured Grammy-nominated songwriters and producers
